There are times when it feels like there is not much that we can rely on. People let us down, unexpected expenses crop up that drain our bank balances, and the things that we once considered to be our hopes and dreams can turn out not to offer us what we thought they would. Unpredictability is a fact of life, but man, it can be difficult sometimes. It means that what we can count on becomes all the more precious—even when it's something small, such as memes. Standalone, they might not make much of a difference, but in greater numbers, they offer us the reassurance that even if everything else goes wrong, stupid internet humor will always be there. The one caveat is that we can never truly predict what the contents is going to be. That's OK, because we know the results will be the same no matter what.
